This cabin is a personal construction project. I wanted to design and
build it completely on my own for the purpose of an art gallery and my
studio workshop. I get a great feeling when I work in this cabin
because I feel as if I am working inside one of my own pieces of art. I
treated this cabin as if creating a sculpture throughout the entire
building process. When growing up, I worked with my father on many
different building projects including my home. I used the knowledge I
gained working with him to complete this goal on my own.
